Lam Man-Sau (Fion) studied violin from the age of five and obtained her Advanced Certificate and LRSM Diploma . Shortly after graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Music from the Hong Kong Baptist University, she received a scholarship to further her studies at the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts where she earned a Masters Degree in Violin Performance. Her principal teachers included Professor Michael Ma, Dr. David Chung and Mr. Lung Heung-Fai.
Upon her graduation, Fion was awarded full scholarship to study violin performance under Professor Kurt Sassmannshaus and was awarded Artist Diploma from the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music in the United States, where she also served as teaching assistant. In 2010, Fion was accepted by the Chicago Civic Symphony Orchestra for a tutti position; Fion actives in many music performance.
